Sports Funding and Swimming
The government is providing funding to provide schools with funding aimed at improving the quality of sport and PE for all children. Schools receive £16,000 per school plus £10 per pupil.
We have used this funding to purchase a new PE Curriculum called Real PE, purchase a support agreement with Sponne School Towcester to enable our children to enter all cluster competitions and to pay for costs of transport and gym hall hire. We purchased a mini-bus in 2016 to transport our children to sporting events.
The impact of funding is showing in our PE delivery with children benefiting from high quality teaching. The children from across our federation have had success in cluster sporting tournaments. Children's fitness levels have improved with increased participation in PE. Enjoyment of sport is evident with more children wanting to join our Netball and Football clubs and teams.
Our outdoor places have been transformed to enable children to keep fit and have access to facilities throughout the year.
Please see below the Federation report of PE & Sports grant.
